- Lever tumbler mechanical locks.
- Designed for swinging doors.
- Designed for use on cell doors, corridor doors, dormitory doors and dayrooms.
- Also suited for storage rooms, or large control cabinets.
- Mechanical operation - locks and unlocks by keys.
- Durable case - drop-forged case with 3/8" thick cold steel cover.
- Working parts are corrosion resistant.
- Heavy duty lever tumblers or spring-temper brass, activated by heavy phosphor bronze springs.
- Series 80 uses 5 tumblers, while series 80-6 uses 6.
- Large, solid deadbolt of galvanized steel with three hardened steel roller pins.
- ¾" Bolt Throw.
- Investment-cast key cylinder.
- Optional features include higher security in the form of the 6 tumbler model for greater pick resistance; bolt projection may be varied to suit conditions; case and cover can be galvanized for corrosion resistance; can be mounted on hollow metal, plate or grill mounting.
