Electromechanical Deadlatch - 51E Series

Lever tumbler, solenoid-operated locks for swinging doors.
Designed for door-jamb installation.
Provide maximum security for heavily used cell, corridor or entrance doors.
Provide the convenience of slam-locking with remote, electrical unlocking.
Operation - When connected to a momentary-contact switch, the latchbolt retracts when the solenoid is energized. Once retracted, the latchbolt is held mechanically retracted until door is opened. The latchbolt extends when door is open.
120VAC Solenoid voltage.
Two-piece plug connector simplifies wiring.
Instant solenoid operation is dependable.
Automatic deadlocking.
Mechanical unlocking by key in the event of a power failure.
Indication switch monitors extension of the latch bolt and the dead locked condition is included.
Case and cover are made of 7-gauge steel.
Choice of 5 or 6 lever tumbler models.
